Funday Schedule

Time	Activity
08:15	All students phone Dean on 07793 678133 to check the weather is suitable for training and to find out where and when they will meet.
10:15	This is the normal meeting time. Instructor and students usually meet at the Yorkshire Dales Falconry Centre in the Cafe on the A65 just outside Settle.
10.30	Introductory talk
11:00	Drive to the Site. Allocation of equipment. Join BHPA.
11:30	Site and weather assessment. Introduction to the equipment, daily checks, launch demos etc.
12:30	Students turn! Clipping in, inflating the glider, keeping it overhead, steering towards a reference point and how to land.
13:30	Lunch
14:00	Onwards – Moving up the slope to low level flights, gradual increase in height.

We can be flying until it gets dark so if you’re doing a Funday in summer, don’t make any plans for the evening!
